As for the more than 800 Alliances Françaises present in 132 countries around the world, the Alliance Française of Dar Es Salaam promotes the French language and francophone cultures and encourages cultural diversity by offering a stage to Tanzania cultural expressions.
The range of cultural activities proposed is wide, with hundreds of events, live music concerts, urban arts events, conferences or exhibitions. Artists from Tanzania, France or any other country are welcomed to take part in these activities promoting cross-cultural understanding.
