ALTÆR is a quarterly event that welcomes all the alternative and effervescent people of the city to experience a curated space that combines immersive visual arts and alternative, young, black sounds from across East Africa. Rooted in today’s Alté Movement, the space invites audiences to adorn themselves, embrace their truest form of being and enter a space that aims to prioritise the safety of its marginalised guests.
