🖋 For literature lovers, KALAM SALAAM pays homage to the father of Swahili literature, Shabaan Robert. 

🇫🇷 For our Alliance Members, If you are above 16 and want to brush up on your French, we now offer French Club every Thursday which allows you to practise your French through various activities such as games, debate and literature. Why not test it out this month?

⚖️ For those who like a good debate or panel we have some interesting thought-provoking ones coming up this month. We start Agenda Zetu by discussing “The future of comics, cartoons and animation in the digital age”. Later in the month, we analyse the influence of Africa on Bob Marley’s music, hosted by The Rastafari United Front.

🎶For music lovers, the first performance of the month is by none other than Bonogo legends themselves, Mandojo and Domokaya (TZ). We then follow on with giving tribute to the late great Bob Marley with Jhikoman (TZ) leading the charge. Safari Rockerz(TZ) then bring some Afro-fusion while Prisca Hilonga (TZ) smoothly blends Afropop, R&B and all types of smooth sounds. We end the month with Ngoma Kitaa filling the air with the sounds of ngoma and traditional music.

📷For lovers of art, ESCAPE ROUTES by Nickson Kimaro (TZ) and Frank Rogan (KE), is still up until mid-monthdon’t miss immersing yourself in this thought-provoking exhibition that invites you to embark on a journey of liberation. Soon after an exhibition by Ahmed M Mohamed aka Medy (TZ), “ALKASUS”, celebrates the blend of tradition and contemporary life in Tanzania. For Comic Book artists and lovers, the project “Ocean d’Histoires/Hadithi Ya Bahari” sees Malagasy Comic Artist, Dwa on our shores giving a series of workshops not to be missed by enthusiasts.

🎲 If it’s games you are after, look no further!! Believe Games will be hosting a Games Night this month bringing people together to connect and let loose. Join them!

🎬For movie lovers, Muvi Kali this month starts with a Tanzanian film “The Midnight Bride” by Doreen R Kilimbe (TZ). The rest of the month has some interesting titles, from serious award-winning animations to “The Short Export – Made in Germany” a selection of short films. Get lost in all these worlds every Tuesday.

🎨🧒 For the kids, we have different activities for kids (up to age 12) to join in on every Saturday. From comic workshops to different animations and getting into the art of origami – there’s something to keep the little ones entertained every week.

 It’s a packed month, and we cannot wait to unwrap it all.
