DELF / DALF

 

The Alliance française of Dar es Salaam is an accredited DELF/DALF test center. We hence offer preparatory courses for the DELF/DALF exams.

DELF/DALF certificates are awarded by the French Ministry of Education. Not only do they validate your competence in French but they officially certify your level of language.
DELF/DALF are recognized internationally and valid for life.

DELF Tout public Adulte
The objective of the DELF/DALF is to evaluate 4 competences : listening, reading, writing and speaking. There are six diplomas corresponding to the six-level scale of the Common European Reference Framework for Languages.

Total Duration of all tests : A1 (1h20) ; A2 (1h40) ; B1 (1h45) ; B2 (2h30) ; C1 (4h) ; C2 (3h30)

 

 

DELF Prim (Kids : 7-12 years old)

DELF PRIM is the first level in the DELF/DALF series of certifications.
Getting the DELF PRIM diploma will encourage and motivate your child in learning French.

 

 

 

DELF Junior (Teens : 13-17 years old)

DELF JUNIOR is the first level in the DELF/DALF series of certifications.
Getting the DELF PRIM diploma will encourage and motivate your child in learning French.

 

 

 

DELF Pro

 

The DELF Pro is the professional version of the DELF. The DELF Pro is designed for candidates seeking initial employment opportunities or promotion within a French-speaking work environment. The examination topics are based on the world of work.

 

 

 

TEF / TEFAQ
Alliance française of Dar es Salaam is an accredited center for TEF and TEFaq tests.

TEF and TEFaq are the official exams organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris. They are recognized worldwide, allowing you to work or study in a French speaking environment once you’ve reached the minimum level required. The TEF and TEFAQ help you evaluate your skills on a scale from beginner to advanced levels.

As your language skills change with time, TEF and TEFaq diplomas are only valid for 1 year.

TEF (Test d’Évaluation du Français) level
French language tests assessing your knowledge and proficiency level in French language. The TEF is a widely-recognized test that will allow you to demonstrate your fluency to your employer. It is also required by Citizenship and Immigration Canada(CIC).The test consists of 3 compulsory components:

  • Written comprehension
  • Listening comprehension,
  • Structure and vocabulary

And 2 optional sub-tests required for Immigration purposes:

  • Written expression
  • Oral expression

The CCIP delivers a certificate that rates the candidate’s quantitative and qualitative performance and provides an analysis of results which are valid for one year.

TEFAQ (Test d’Évaluation du Français pour le Québec) level
The objective of the TEFAQ is to assess oral comprehension and oral expression in French. The TEFAQ is useful for those wishing to immigrate to Quebec.The TEFAQ is recognized by the Quebec Immigration as part of the official immigration application.For more info about the TEFAQ (in French) »

 

 

TCF – Test de Connaissance du français
Alliance française of Dar es Salaam is an accredited center for TCF DAP (TCF pour la Demande d’Admission Préalable).

If you wish to apply, in France, as a first year undergraduate (L1) or as an architecture school student and you do not have the DELF B2 or DALF, you must apply for a TCF specific to the preliminary admission application, called“TCF for DAP”.
